What to do

Figueira Site | Educational Tourism

About the attraction

Located in the Santana community, Sítio Figueira has been run for generations by the family of Alvonir, affectionately known as the "King of Corn." The property integrates family farming and socio-environmental education, welcoming students for experiences that combine tradition, nature, and learning. Among the attractions are the educational trail, knowledge about corn cultivation, and interaction with the imposing fig tree that gives the site its name. The spacious and shaded area is ideal for picnics, conversation circles, and outdoor activities, functioning as a true open-air classroom.
