We are structuring the Empress's Paths Cycling Circuit, a route that will connect natural landscapes, rural communities and historical landmarks of the city in a journey designed for those who enjoy exploring the destination on two wheels.
With 56.24 kilometers long, The circuit is expected to reveal an even more special side of Santo Amaro da Imperatriz. The idea is for the bike ride to become a complete experience, where the journey itself is part of the adventure. Along the route, cyclists will pass through rural roads, regions surrounded by the Atlantic Forest, historic churches, and areas that showcase the municipality's relationship with nature and its traditions.
A circuit for those who enjoy cycling and exploring.
O Cycling Circuit Empress's Paths It is being planned to offer a route with moderate technical difficulty, ideal for cyclists who already have some experience with cycling and enjoy longer and more varied routes.
With a length of 56.24km, cyclists will find variations in terrain, rural roads and natural landscapes, making the course dynamic and interesting. The circuit will have approximately 313 meters maximum elevation, providing moments of challenge and more tranquil stretches to enjoy the scenery.
More than just completing the distance, the idea is to enjoy every part of the journey. The route will pass through areas that invite you to pause for photos, observe nature, or simply enjoy the scenery.
Five segments to enjoy at your own pace.
To make the experience more organized and accessible, the circuit will be divided into 5 excerpts, allowing each cyclist to choose to complete the entire route at once or to cycle in stages.
Section 1 – up to km 19.4
The first leg will depart from the city center and take cyclists to more rural areas of the municipality, in the Braço São João region, revealing tranquil landscapes and the welcoming atmosphere of the countryside, before returning to the central area of the city.
Section 2 – up to km 24.6
In this section, the route leads to the Caldas da Imperatriz region, a traditional area of the municipality known for its thermal waters and the natural beauty that surrounds the region.
Section 3 – up to km 34.9
In this section, the circuit will continue towards Vargem do Braço Church, one of the best-known places in the community and which represents an important part of the region's history.
Section 4 – up to km 48.1
Here the route will include passing through the region of Hotel Caldas da Imperatriz, a historical site that is part of the municipality's tourist route.
Section 5 – up to km 56.24
The final stretch will lead cyclists back to the city center, ending the route once again in the square and completing the... 56.24 kilometers of the circuit.

Support points for cyclists.
The businesses that are part of the circuit will be identified as support points for cyclists. Each of them will be marked with specific plates, making it easier to identify during the journey.
These locations will be able to offer support to cyclists along the route, whether for a break, food, or rest. The idea is that the circuit will also help strengthen local businesses, connecting cycle tourism with municipal services.
Signage designed to guide cyclists.
Another important feature of the circuit will be... Signage throughout the entire route., designed to facilitate navigation and offer useful information for cyclists.
Each section will feature a information sign, which will help the cyclist better understand the route they are taking. These signs will provide important information such as:

- Mileage of the section
- Estimated average time to complete
- Difficulty level
- maximum elevation
The plates will also feature a QR Code, This will allow access to digital content and registration of participation in the circuit.
